What score do I need for a skilled visa?

There is a minimum points threshold, but in practice the scores that receive invitations are usually higher and vary by occupation and round. We calculate your score, look for legitimate ways to increase it, and advise on how competitive you are before you lodge.

Do I need an employer or a job offer?

No. Skilled points-tested visas do not require an employer to sponsor you. State or regional nomination can boost your score, but the independent stream needs neither an employer nor a family sponsor.

How long will my application take?
