UK Global Talent visa

For leaders and potential leaders - no job offer required.

Overview

About this visa

The Global Talent visa is for people who are leaders, or have the potential to be leaders, in academia and research, arts and culture, or digital technology.

Most applicants need endorsement from an approved body confirming their standing or potential, after which they can apply without needing a job offer or sponsor.

It offers flexibility to work across roles and organisations, and can lead to settlement, making it a strong option for genuinely exceptional individuals.

This may suit you if

  • You are a leader or emerging leader in your field
  • You can obtain the required endorsement
  • You want flexibility without a fixed employer
  • You want a route toward settlement

Frequently asked questions

Do most UK visas lead to settlement?
Many do. A number of work and family routes lead to Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) after a qualifying period of continuous residence, and ILR can then lead to British citizenship. We plan your visa with settlement in mind from the start.
Do I need a job offer to work in the UK?
For the main Skilled Worker route, yes - you need a job offer from an employer with a sponsor licence. Some routes, such as Global Talent, do not require a job offer. We confirm which route fits you.
How long will my application take?
Processing times vary by visa type and change regularly, and they depend on your documents and personal circumstances. We give you a realistic, up-to-date estimate for your situation and keep you informed while the case is assessed.
Can I include my family?
Many visas let you include a partner and dependent children, either together with your application or by adding them later. We confirm exactly who you can include and prepare their documents alongside yours.
Do I have to visit your office in Jalandhar?
No. We work with clients across India and around the world. Your case can be handled entirely by phone, email and video call if that is easier for you.
